Just a word of warning to anyone in the snow-belt planning on storing their VW van outside this winter. REMOVE YOUR WINDSHIELD WIPERS.

Too late for me; a weekend chinook filled the snow on my windshield and roof with water allowing it to slide down over the windscreen with disastrous results. I'll have to sort that out when I reactivate in the spring. Pretty sad looking wipers; hanging down like a wet noodle over the radiator. :-(
