Subject: Shipping with Forward Air inthe Washington DC area
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Hello, becauce I have used this company a few times, they want to give me a BIG discount in shipping charges. I can ship up to 400# anywhere in the 48 states for $90. WOW! Now, Forward Air is airport to airport, and one needs to drop off and pick up, at the airport.

Retail is much much higher than this figure I have recieved. A 4 cyl VW diesel engine to Atlanta Ga cost about $200( 225#). 5 Aluminum wheels and two tires to SFO cost about $130. This pallet was 165#. What would 400# have been? Now it is only $90 for me.

I can get an even better rate to New England(Hello Mike) 400# for $55. I still have those fiberglass coolant tubes for a 1.9, at my store. I can ship them to Boston for a mear $55.

Why am I writing this? I figured ,why not make money on it. If anyone wants to ship large and heavy items out of the DC area, let me know. I will split the.difference between retail rates and my discount, with you. That 380# syncro component pallet wont cost $345 to ship to your auntie Jane in LA. Only cost $90 + 1/2 the difference , or about $260.
