if you want to buy from german ebay i can generally help you. I have
accouts in both countries and can easily do an ueberweisung (german
money transfer) for you, provided you prepay me via paypal non credit
card.
i can also translate something if you need me too.
in respect to shipping, deutsche post has te following prices to the
u.s., and that is the carrier most german ebayers prefer: 2kg (4.4lbs)
uninsured euro12,90, 5kg (11lbs) about 25euro, 10kg about 45, 20kg
(44lbs) 60 euros. officially this is surface shipping, but it usually
takes two weeks to the u.s., cause in the end they fly it anyway.
if a seller does not want to ship out of germany, i may be able to
forward it through my parents business. shipping costs will be higher
in this case, as you have to pay shipping first within germany and
then over here, in addition there may be a two week delay resulting
from my dad.....
