I live in Central Florida (about 50 miles west of Orlando) and I have a Subie 2.2L conversion I did about 4 years ago. You don't see as many of them as you used to around here, but I drive by Sunray Bugs in Dade City almost every day and I usually see at least 1 or 2 in there getting work done on them. Recently, someone in my subdivision bought a Vanagon and has been driving it around, which was nice to see. I didn't know that Tim had moved to Louisiana, I hadn't talked to him for awhile now.

Rob, Got one here in NE Florida! But you're right...there seems to be a few T2 here in the Jax area, and even fewer T3. Maybe there are more in south Florida. There are very few list members in Florida. As I think about it, besides myself, only Tim in Orlando posted much and he has now moved to Louisiana. There may be one other fellow in Orlando who posts occasionally.
On another note, I drove to the North Carolina Outer Banks over the (U.S.) Thanksgiving holiday and passed a burgundy Westy with Quebec tags on I-95 northbound in North Carolina just across the South Carolina line. This was Wednesday about 9:30 a.m. as a nor'easter battered the coast. Little while later passed a pax van also traveling northbound...I think with South Carolina tags. They wouldn't have noticed me.....was driving the family in Momma's MB wagon
List members?
Cheers, Anthony

My '87 is sporting a Subaru 2.2 so I notice those too, I have not noticed even one out here in the last 4 days.
Very different from western WA state.
