Subject: BA6 Heater Booster - #3 cover

BA6 Heater Booster - #3 cover Hello ,yet again. Here isthe protective cover forthe BA6. Many are completely missing. Access to the fuel filters and other items up there is poor with this cover in place. Many "forget" to replace after servicing the Vanagon. It gets lost, somehow. Other covers get bashed beyond repair. Some just rust off. Both covers had teh access plate missing. No big deal. This is a flat piece and can easily be fashioned with a jig saw and piece of sheet metal from a washing machine.

The little plastic inserts for the screws are installed in holes already made in the frame.Just waiting to be filled with these little jems. All in all, this is an unappreciated safty device. Leaves can get caught in unfavoriable places, and catch fire. Especially this time of year. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/rogersisler2000/album?.dir=/adcare2&.src=ph&.tok=phsky3FBiwlPD6kM
