I went with the Acrylic 3 vent canvas (from GoWesty, I think) for my 91 Syncro Westy. I got it burgundy, which matches the color of the vehicle, installed it myself and have been very pleased. I went with the synthetic due to my being in a humid environment, and I figured I didn't need to have mildew crawling on it.

The feel is almost exactly the same as the cotton canvas, so don't let that sway you.
