folks, it is time for a new poptop canvas for the Vanagon Westy. There are about 6 different varieties out there. What have folks used? We want durability, waterproof'ness and three windows for sure. Plus, a non-Gray or Beige color would be nice :-)

Same question I asked a few months ago and the answer I got was to go with the German aftermarket one from The Bus Depot. It's the only one available with the three windows with REMOVABLE window screens. HOWEVER, trying to get one in grey is another question. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive after placing my order some months ago. Bus Depot says they had some problems with the grey stock ones and had to order in new ones. The Beige ones were in stock and correct the last I heard. So far I have not heard any new news on this subject. Ron, what's up with these Pop-top canvases ? I'm now looking into a new pop-top canvass manufacturer I just found out about. Harrison's Canvas Crafters & Sewing, 1827 Beaver Bank Road, Beaver Bank, NS, B4G 1C9, Canada, 902-864-8202, _hccsewing@netscape.net_ (mailto:hccsewing@netscape.net) . I have called, no answer, left a message, so far no returned call. I will be trying again today. Gonna be a PITA to replace now that winter is setting in as my heated garage is not tall enough to open the pop-top for dismantling and installing the new canvass. Gonna have to wait 'till spring I guess.

Cheers,
