I like the low-tech version of just mosquito netting, no zipper, no edging, the same kind I use backpacking, nice and light, inexpensive and can be squeezed into a ball or pouch. When I didn't have an awning, I closed the passenger door on one corner and wrapped the other corner around the upper sliding door mount. It was long enough to tuck inside and drag on the floor o the van to make a nice fairly bug proof screen. Nice thing is 1) cheap, 2) easy entry and exit, just push through it 3) goes up in a jiffy and 4) it doesn't take up any space and if it gets ruined, no big deal.

And now that I have an awning, I will hang it over the awning which works great for the sheet I use in the colder weather to some of the keep the cold out but still allow easy entry/exit.

Wait, I am starting to sound like trailer trash. But this solution works good and where I camp, no one sees me anyway.
