Yesterday I finally got the 2.1 engine in my '84 Vanagon running, and it moved for the first time since ?? under it's own power. I actually got the engine back in about 3 weeks ago



Actually, the "yesterday" was Sunday. I posted this message (or so I thought) to the Vanagon list yesterday morning, but I never saw it appear. I checked my "sent" messages this morning and found I actually sent it to a list called "Virtual Vairs" which is a Corvair owners list. They are probably all wondering "WTF, why is this guy posting stuff about a Vanagon here?"        Jeff
