Your battery should be in the green until you use it for an extended  
amount of time.

Do you have an auxillary battery under the drivers seat? Is that the  
one you replaced, or do you have only a single battery? If you only  
have a single battery, you probably should double check the ground  
strap. If it isn't a nice coppery color, you should replace it and  
see if that changes things.
