... go find a copy of "Cars" (pixar/disney) and watch it.

especially if you are over 50 years old. you young grunts may not
appreciate the subtle (and not-so-subtle) nuances of the film as it
unveils a philosophy of life and happiness. ;)

no, really, for us old folks who used to go on 'trips' with our
parents, and then started doing it in vw bus with friends and later
with our own families, it really struck a chord with me. and i suspect
it will also with a lot of you that are close to my age ... those of
us that have driven long distances on non-interstate highways.

a bit sappy in a few places, but chuckles and a few guffaws in other
places.
in my opinion, WELL worth the few dollars at blockbuster, movie
gallery, netflix, Auntie June's Bordello and Video Rentals, or
whatever. and if you have kids, they might like it, too ... but for
different reasons.

now, the Danger:
letting wives, girlfriends, and children watch this movie MIGHT cause
Trippittis ... you might start getting comments like "when are you
gonna fix up that bus so WE can go on a trip like that?". :)

and when the movie is finished, don't eject the dvd ... watch the
additional features:
mater and the ghostlight.
and inspiration for cars.
