Just back from two days at Mew Lake in Algonquin Park camping with my daughter April & her husband-to-be, Sal, and some other close friends. April moved to Santa Cruz about a year ago and met Sal who is from Zamora, Mexico and had never been to Canada so we thought a good campout in Algonquin Park would show him what Canada is all about. There was a Stag & Doe Party for them on Saturday nite which was attended by many of our Westy friends. A great time was had by all and I had way over my limit of Tequila. After a day of rest on Sunday to clear the hangovers some of the more hearty types loaded up their campers and headed off to Mew Lake. I had rented a Yurt that is heated and sleeps six, so there was not going to be to much of a challenge with the cold weather. Ended up everyone slept in their campers except the two love birds. Rita and I were wanting to test our newly installed _Propex_ (http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/propex.htm) and the new _Pop-Top Insulating Cover_ (http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/insulat.htm) I had made. Well, at -4 C we were toasty as can be. That Propex had to be set on the lowest setting so as to not roast us. I was happily surprised with the efficiency of the whole set-up. Noise level of the fan and propane fire is minimal and we are sure to get used to it. By Wednesday we had all made our way home and April & Sal flew back to the warmth of Santa Cruz yesterday. Good times were had by all. For those of you interested I am organizing a trip to Mexico for their wedding in Zamora on December 15, 2007. See my _Buses in Zamora Yahoo Group_ (http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/Busesinzamora/) for more info and join us if you want. Thanks to all of you who made April & Sal welcome and the Stag & Doe Party & Camping in Mew Lake a success.

Cheers,
