I'm with you Steven. I always use that lower space and have already
removed the partition to make it even more useful. I find the recent
Propex mountings down there thus far to be far from elegantly done, no
offense to my northern friends.
That lower space works much better for storing some items than the under
the bed space does so I don't see the big advantage either. My wife
would have a fit if the wide variety of food items stored down there
were moved to under the bed instead. At times it is impractical or
impossible for her to raise the bed, such as when I am laying on it. I
would not eat so well as a result, bad, bad.
