Hey, you guys are talking about removing the Secret Compartment!!
And I'll tell you how secret it can be. Five years ago when looking to
replace my totalled '85, I looked at a Syncro Westy that had been imported
from Canada.  While going through it I lifted the lid on the Secret
Compartment and found in there an original, from the factory, first aid
kit.  When I pulled it out the owner said "Whats that and where did you find
it?"  He had been driving the rig for several years but was unaware of that
storage space.
