RE: Removing partition by the water tank Hey, you guys are talking about removing the Secret Compartment!! And I'll tell you how secret it can be. Five years ago when looking to replace my totalled '85, I looked at a Syncro Westy that had been imported from Canada. While going through it I lifted the lid on the Secret Compartment and found in there an original, from the factory, first aid kit. When I pulled it out the owner said "Whats that and where did you find it?" He had been driving the rig for several years but was unaware of that storage space.
