What do you mean? You just said you put the heater in the "cabinet space" next to the water tank. Why isn't that usable space? I tuck plenty of stuff in there.

That's why I think this solution isn't any better than putting the unit under the bench. Same net amount of space removed from your overall space total. The only other solution I've read is the removal of the rear auxilary heater unit which I think is a pretty good idea unless you live in conditions where you need that extra heater. IMHO it is not worth relocating the circuit breaker or giving up that cubby hole versus the ease of installing the unit under the bench seat. The only thing I can see that is of benefit is the shorter copper tubing route to the main tube.

Just my point of view. Sorry if it comes out' gruff.... :)

This is the third or fourth time I address this question. Please look carefully at the pics on my _Propex Heaters_ (http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/propex.htm) webpage. You will see clearly that only two inches of space is lost in that lower cabinet your all so worried about. I too keep tons of stuff in that cabinet and when I was done installing the Propex, ALL the stuff that was in that cabinet went back in there with no problem. Relocating the circuit breaker entailed cutting a new hole and screwing it back to the inner wall, big deal ! The 1/4" copper line I ran for propane service of the Propex was very easily brought in through the floor and up to the Propex, no problem there. There is no way to install it under the back seat with out loosing the space the Propex occupies or removing the rear factory heater and using that space. The rear factory heater is used very often over here in Almonte, Ontario ! Brrrrrrrr !
