Oh, bummer. That would be a reason to not support AAA.
I have refrained from joining AARP (American Assoc of Retired People - not
that I'm retired, but anyone 50+ can join) for similar reasons. They lobby
for all kinds of things I don't support.

:::Don't know about AAA, but CAA in Manitoba promotes more concrete and
:::lower fuel taxes. Which is great if life begins and ends with the
:::car but lousy if the environment and sustainable cities get in the
:::way. I don't want an auto advocate, i just want someone to tow me
:::(or more likely boost ) when necessary. Wish i could find an
:::alternative in Canada.
