Ugh. Too big. The dang things are built on an E350 body van. I used to drive a 2WD E350 for work. Behemoth. Sways like a ship at sea in turns, and turning radius of about a mile and half. I'm sure the Quigley 4x4 version is a solid performer, but there's no escaping the raw physics: it weighs 8000+ pounds, has a really long wheelbase and/or a less than amazing departure angle--- it's just not the same class as the Syncro. If I had a fortune to blow on a 4x4 RV that won't fit in my garage, I'd just go ahead and get a Revcon Trailblazer. <http://www.revconmotorcoach.com> -- John Bange '90 Vanagon - "Geldsauger" |
