I don't know if I've ever had the driver's side out, but my passenger side switch flange--the plastic area that keeps it in place in its cutout--was replaced years ago when it broke off from the main body of the switch. I just took a little saw to something else made of black plastic, about the same size and shape as the broken part, and epoxied it into place. That was about 12 years ago.
