Roger, thanks for the response. The experience that I related was also with the XZX tires and at least one other has mentioned the XZX. Apparently at that time someone in the tires business had decided that the XZX were okay for a Vanagon BUT I don't think it was Michelin. Or maybe it was and they realized later they were wrong. Although I couldn't get any info out of the tire store I was dealing with, they were really anxious to get the XZXs off my Vanagon when they saw them even though they had sold them to me several years before. And they made a major adjustment in pricing at the time they replaced them with MXTs.
