Maybe head a little farther West of Winchester to WV. They have nice state park campgrounds that I think stay open in the winter, with electric hookups and lower prices. My memory of that area is a little hazy, but I think Berkeley Springs or Blackwater Falls state parks are in that area. But that may be getting a little farther than you wanted to go from the Population center. farther south in WV is Pipestem Resort State Park which is very nice with indoor pool, lots of programs, restaurant and meeting rooms, etc. Are there any nice state parks in MD toward the beaches or eastern shore that stay open? Edward
