thats why the chin spoiler holes are reamed out..because when removing these from parts vans, the original screws that hold them on do the same thing (either rusted solid, or the nutserts just spin, like yours do), and you either have to grind the heads off or chisel them out..

anyway, when installing a chin spoiler, you can just do that i do when installing a chin spoiler to a vehicle that DIDNT previously have one - drill holes and run some self tapping screws in.

i installed a chin spoiler on my 84 wolfsburg, and my 86 westy, and i just drilled to the right or left of those existing holes, and ran self tappers in..
