Prol'ly the very best coolant is the VW coolant. Somewhere, recently, I read of a "G" series VW coolant that doesn't require periodic changing out. That said, however, I do now and have used for a number of years, the GM orange biodegradable coolant that is for aluminum engines. In my case it's a Texaco branded product. I change it out every two years religiously. The system gets flushed, and refilled with fresh coolant plus a bottle of Redline WaterWetter.

Regards,
