I had the problem of what to do with the toxic left overs everytiime I change the coolant. I kept it in plastic buckets until the local recycle folks called for paints, antifrezze, and other liquid toxics. then took it to the recyclers.

Once I took it to a garage that had one of those pressure/vaccum coolant exchange systems. The old antifreeze was simply collected in their holding system for disposal along with their other liquids like oil, brake fluid, etc, etc, etc.
