Subject: Re: Maine Westy Mechanic Reference Needed

Several months ago, I wrote asking for a positive reference to a competent and fair mechanic in the Augusta to Watertown region in Maine. Someone had sent me the name and location of a person, but that info has gotten lost along the way, and I need to have a resource in Maine who is reliable.

My 84 Westy will hit the 200K mile rollover either this evening or tomorrow and I am having to use it for at least 1 and occasionally two round trips a week between my Vermont home near Lake Champlain and Waterville, Maine. My usual mechanical whiz lives and has his shop near my Vermont home, and has been known to even make house calls. But asking him to visit Maine is a bit beyond and above .... doncha know ...

So, I'll appreciate any suggestions from folks who know the region of Maine where one of my hats hangs fairly regularly now. SamC
