then number in the $100 range sems like very cheap insurance but has anybody any experience on diff's for $100 seems like I am gonna chuck one under the rear seat with the rest of my spare parts ...

Just be careful with it. I remember reading in the paper a few years ago about the authorities tracking down an EPIRB signal-to a guys house in Alexandria Virginia. He was a boater, and had brought home a box of stuff from his boat, including his EPIRB, and tossed it on the garage floor-and accidently activating the EPIRB. They were not amused. Jeff
