I looked at a old beat '86 Syncro passenger van today with a friend, just NW of Albany NY. This is probably one of the most beat up / crusty examples I've seen, and has been sitting at least three years judging by the fuel odor and rusted components in the engine compartment. Probably not worthy or restoring. Right front suspension is apart, rear wheels about six inches into the ground. The entire drivetrain looks ok, including the locker trans. The owner claims it ran fine until parked. But he is about to haul it to the Big Crusher unless someone grabs it FAST. Someone step up and save this thing, at the very least the drivetrain! He wants $400....and is not the most pleasant person to deal with, so don't bother if you aren't serious. If you ARE serious and can get it out of his place asap, email me for the details.

Karl too many Syncros and parts
