 RE: Burning Tires and Electronic Gizmos
Greg, in the current case that started this thread they burned all five
tires for both heat and signaling.  Smoke not spotted probably because at
the time they burned the tires searchers were looking in the wrong place.
As for Gizmos I think people are saying "Last Resort" for such items.
