I think it is now hard wired into most peoples heads that the vanagon is just slow. Even though few remember them,or ever saw one,it is the slowness of the origional Vw buses where this must come form. Man has evolved since that time, and it is just known that VW things are slow. Knowledge that one is now born with.When I pullout form anintersection, I dont get messages from other drivers.They just somehow know I am doing all I can. Either that,or they just gave up justering.Dosent work. I have seen that appoligic bumper sticker on diesels saying "Caution 48 horsepower at work" , or how about the one that says" yes,the line begins here" |
