Joy & All,
I've been lurking & following the party thread, hoping the timing would work
out so my wife & I could bring our Westy out for it's first VW meet. The
bummer is that we are the VA Reps for the Moto Guzzi National Owners Club
(motorcycles) & have an Guzzi lunch & gift exchange scheduled for this
Saturday. So, for future reference, are all the VA bus gatherings posted to
the Vanagon list? Is there a VA Vdub site I should be watching? A formal
group I should join? I've added the Kampenfools site to my favorites list &
will watch for NC events we can do. We're located just East of Lynchburg, so
some of the NC events they had listed for '06 would have been an easy cruise
for us. We have had motorcycle events scheduled the same weekend as the
Louisa VA VW meet eversince I've been aware of it's existance.
If the group is looking for good VW rally sites, we do our yearly VA State
Guzzi rally at the Glen Maury Park in Buena Vista VA. They treat us very
well, it's a nice little town, & the park has tons of flat space w/hookups
at very reasonable rates.
