FWIW...I was in the dealers showroom last week pricing options on possibly a
TDI wagon...sticker shock nearly killed me...LOL
Anyhow, the sales gal was very enlightening...now this is Canada
EH...YMMV....
The "NEW" city Golf/Jetta is only available in gas...bummer
There may not be any diesels imported in 07...SAY WHAT!
VW wants to pressure North America into providing better diesel fuel....like
with their slumping market share they're gonna do that by not importing
diesels...yeah sure that'll happen quick...
They have 06 TDI wagons still in stock, and some Golf TDI, but they are all
4 door...I want 2 door for the commute...
So I'm back to putting some cash into my 90 1.6 N/A and continuing to enjoy
that for another year...WAAAA!
OTOH I have an 86 weekender automatic I want to put a diesel TD
into....looking for exhaust and oil pump solutions...anyone have anything
they want to sell...and a snorkel...
Thanks, Den.
