But wait... there was a darker red, wasn't there? I was just looking in the brochure from 1990, there's one in there (you can download the brochure in pdf form from my website at http://www.knology.net/ ~felder/Vanagons/ and see for yourself) and it doesn't look like the bright red of my 1990 Carat.
