Based on the article I read on-line, the person approaching the SA "volks" was aware that his/her T3 was the second-to-last when it was purchased (it may have been specifically ordered, but I really don't know that). As an example, I know the person in the SF Bay Area who specifically purchased the last Syncro Westy to come off the line. -- Jim Thompson 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com ********************************** On 12/11/06, Raimund Feussner <rfeussner@gmx.de> wrote: > > How did they/he find out that his T3 was the second-to-last?! > > Raimund > > > Old Volks Home schrieb: > > It's been recently noted that the owner of the Second-To-Last T3 > produced > > has donated his/her vehicle to the museum to replace the last one that > > was > > produced. > > -- > > Jim Thompson > > 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" > > 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" > > 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" > > oldvolkshome@gmail.com > > http://www.oldvolkshome.com > > ********************************** > > On 12/11/06, mordo <helmut.blong@gmail.com> wrote: > >> > >> Some of you may have seen this on theSamba: > >> > >> http://www.just-auto.com/article.aspx?id=89694 > >> > >> -- > >> mordo > >> 1990 Carat
