Subject: [NVC] - Computer repaired - Was -- HELP - Calling Computer Gurus
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

HEY EVERYBODY!!

My thanks to all those Vanagoneer/Computer Guru types who hae tried to help me solve the problem I had with my computer - NO VIDEO.

It is fixed!!

I had replaced the motherboard, but got no video.

Problem found.

The onboard video cable connector (receptacle to which the cable attaches) had a bad connection to the motherboard itself.

The Fix - installed a video board. -- Problem solved. And probably getting better video performance at that.

Many Thanks to all who tried to help and gave good advice.

Regards,

John Rodgers
