Is there a VA Vdub site I should be watching? A formal group I should join?

Ron, and all in the Washington, DC area. I started this Yahoo group some time ago, in an effort to create some sort of VW Bus/Camper group that would want to get together from time to time for camping, day trips, etc. Never really took off, but I probably only pushed it on the type2 list, as I didn't own a Vanagon at the time. Here is the link: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/vwcampersmidatlantic/

I used to be a member of the now long gone National Capitol Area VW Club, back in the early '70's, used to meet every month at a library in Bethesda, Maryland. I think it finally split up when water cooled VW's started showing up, and two distinct factions started to form in the club. In this area, especially, it's very difficult to get a group of people to agree on a time & place to meet for just about anything. Jeff
