After a trip from Los ANgeles to Las Vegas and back, my father once asked me if I hung a sign in the back window of my WBX Vanagon for going up steep grades saying "this is as fast as it goes", like he once did in our family motorhome when the plastic shift governor gear broke and left it stuck in 1st gear at 25MPH max. I gave him a puzzled look and paused, answering "Isn't that what the stylized VW in a circle already means?" I guess not so much anymore.
