I recently traveled coast to coast and back in a diesel Vanagon and we never saw anything labeled as other than the old stuff. My question is since the regs say we should be mostly seeing ULSD, why aren't we? In 8,000 miles,we stopped at all kinds of stations.

Anyway, id not see the ULSD at any of them. All the diesel pumps had the stickers informing that the fuel could not be used in 2007 vehicles. > > Dennis > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Mark Drillock > Date: Thursday, December 14, 2006 10:28 am > Subject: Diesel engine conversion questions, ULSD availability > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > > >>Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel should be the main petro diesel you can >>get by now. >> >>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultra-low_sulfur_diesel >> >>Mark >> >
