So, this is all very well under a subject line related to a holiday party -
but is anyone going to be at the party?  

'Cause if it's really only going to be three of us, we might really do
better to have a winter party sometime after the holidays, with more advance
notice!

Oh, and yeah, Tom, there was some discussion on the list about what colors I
should paint my walls.  Tornado red, in particular.  But you're wrong, puce
is NOT a nice color.  

If we have the party in January, it will be post-painting, and you can all
come to my house and see the pure, unadulterated white walls.  :-)  I think
everyone who offered decorating advice should be required to attend, too.
You can camp in my driveway, I realize it is a bit far for some of you to
make it a day trip.
