RE: WetWesties WetWesties invites ALL VW based campers owners to join. Air cooled or water cooled or electric or hydrogen or biodiesel or diesel or methane from cow manure, everyone is welcome. You are right, WetWesties gets the Wet part of the name because we camp year round in the Great North West (Washington, Oregon, BC, Idaho, etc) even in the rain.

From time to time there have been rummers/comments/speculation on some of the AC oriented lists that WetWesties is for water cooled only but no, no, no. Take a look at some pictures from some of our gatherings to see the great variety of vehicles that show up:

And although started in the NW, primarily Washington and Oregon, the 1,400 (or is it 1,500?) plus members subscribed to the WetWesties Yahoo group for email are from all over the world.
