After getting a nasty freeze/burn closing the bleeder valve on the propane tank on my Westy yesterday (operator had not gloves or pliers handy) using a glove I thought would protect me and didn't, I've been looking online for gloves I can carry that will protect my hand closing the bleeder. But I'm not finding anything that appears to have a vapor barrier to it plus some insulation from the cold. I was burned because the venting propane came right through the glove. So what kind of gloves should I be looking for? What are they called, assuming such exist? |
