Well, the important thing is that you are intact - it sounds like it could have been much worse! And the car's only a bunch of metal, albeit a useful one. And - whew! - it wasn't your van. But do watch out for those sore backs and necks, they can linger. Oh, and all rants about car accidents are justified! No need to apologize.

Moreover, I ran the numbers of how many times :::I've been in an accident, or even come close to being :::involved in any accident. In my car or someone elses. :::Very few. Hell I kinda laffed when I realized that I :::didn't even know how to approach making an insurance :::claim. (it's been that long. the only claim I ever :::made was for a break in) Anyhow...... ::: :::Soon common sense prevailed. And because I have this :::love (some would say a crazy kinda love) of the Westy, :::and because I realized that in fact my van bumper :::would have lined up with the trucks steel tube bumper :::had I been driving it (and less damage resulting), I :::decided to keep the van.
