Well, assuming you have an '85 like your sig line says, I'd say fiddle around with the parking brake switch, and make sure there wire leading to it isn't grounding out somewhere between the switch and the warning lamp (easier said than done!). The Bentley says that's the only thing connected to the brake warning light in '85. According to the wiring diagram, in '86 they added the brake fluid level sensor and deleted the parking brake switch. 87-up, they had BOTH a fluid level sensor and a parking brake switch activating the warning light. -- John Bange '90 Vanagon - "Geldsauger" "Staubkess bolt?
