More on the glove/propane problem We're getting a lot of good responses here and I think that rubber coated cotton gloves just might work. When I got nailed I was using a very thick fleece lined leather glove. The propane came right through the leather and nailed me, didn't feel much of anything at the time. So, at this point, I don't have much faith in leather as a barrier for super cold gas/fluid squirting out of the bleeder. And many of the safety gloves I find on the Internet brag about how well they breath, exactly what I don't want. One reference on propane safety referrers to rubber gloves, that makes sense. |
