Super easy job. Prop open hatch with your broomstick or whatever. Change one strut at a time. Use a tiny screwdriver to remove the circlip on the chassis end of the strut being careful not to lose the clip. Remove washers and strut from chassis end "by jiggling it", then from hatch end by twisting it up and away from the hatch. (you can open the clip on the hatch end with a small screwdriver if you like, but you generally don't need to do that). Installation is the reverse of above. |
