Blackbeard decided that he wasn't such a big fan of his power door lock capability. When I exit the car, close the door and lock the driver's side door . . . nothing. Here's the weird thing: Unlock works perfectly (indicating a short in the 'lock' wire, right?). BUT if I lock it before ignition, the auto lock works fine. Also, if I lock from outside the van on the passenger side it, works fine. Being the mechanically challenged sort that I am, it seems to ME that the wire connected to the keyhole on the driver's side is loose. 2 Questions: 1-Does this sound right? 2-Could it be anything else? (actuator, motor, flux capacitor?) Thanks in advance. Matt '90 GL "Blackbeard" |
