Got the tach put in (ran my own lead to coil as recommended) after a few hours today. I decided to install one after getting my own dog-eared copy of How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive, where it is suggested that keeping RPMs in the 2,0003500 range will help keep your engine together longer. Turns out that was exactly what I was already doing, because that was the range that felt ³right². Sometimes gauges just tell you what you already know. Nathaniel
