Allen, There are lots of posts in the archives, particularly from Mark Drillock and Dennis Haynes, discussing the workings of the oil pressure system in the Vanagon. You could find all you need in a search using these names and only covering the last year to 18 months as the questions come up repeatedly. At times this problem is caused by a ground connection that has come loose or otherwise gone bad, but don't assume this and drive. Find the cause of the warning. Good luck.
