To deal with unwanted mail and spammers, you can set filters to catch
the spammer stuff, and send it directly to the trash. One way is to
require all respondents to input a key code into the subject line. Set
your filters to pass only those e-mails with the key code in them and
all others to automatically go into  the trash. Most people I know are
willing to do that.
