I just tried filling the propane tank on a recently purchased 87 Westy and = it leaks at the fill valve. Does anybody know of a source for just the fill= valve? Or the cheapest I have found a complete new tank is $289 at busdepo= t.com. Does anybody have a good used tank? Thanks for any help.

Ryan, you most likely have an auto-stop fill valve which is now defective. Just have it changed for an ordinary fill valve. Most any good competent RV propane service facility will be able to do this for you. If all else fails I have the valves in stock. From my _Vanagon Items Forsale_ (http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/sales.htm) webpage > Filler Valve, standard - $37.95 CND
