I have only seen one Syncro Sunroof anyplace ever - in my life, and it was before I ever even became aware of Vanagons. But I remember this one very clearly because a former co-worker - a Japanese fellow - had bought it. He was an engineer with the company we both worked for and he was very throough in everything he did. Just knowing who he was and how he worked, I'm sure he did a great amount of research in detemining what vehicle to buy for his family. We were in Alaska, and as I recall he specifically wanted the sunroof for travel to "the Lower Fortyeight", and the four wheel ability for travel in Alaska. I think his rig was a 9 passenger.
