Kim,

either I dont fully understand your email or that is not correct. We have low and high beams just as the u.s. We usually drive with low (Fahrlicht) and switch to high (fernlicht) if there is noone else around. We also do not use te high beam if there is traffic in front of us. In short, nothing changed when I immigrated to the States (unless you are all wondering who is the idiot with the wrong lights on driving around berkeley:-)
